21 September 2007: Above, the mother is sitting on seven of her chicks, whilst the eighth one looks for an opening. Top right, you can see that the wing feathers are only just starting to show, and no tails in sight yet. On the right, no amount of flapping could help them get over this low barrier.

04 October 2007: Almost two weeks later and the chicks have definitely increased in size. You can also see the that the wing and tail feathers have grown, and they have no problem flying up to sit on the wall along side mother.
18 October 2007: Another two weeks later and the chicks are now looking more and more like mini adults. Most of their feathers have grown, although they still have 'chick' heads.
