Mother's Day Lunch: Sunday 13 May 2007
Mother's Day is the one day in the year when all mothers and grandmothers can sit back and expect to be spoilt. In Pearly Beach it is no different and luckily our club is the ideal place to bring the family for lunch.
Robert and his team worked very hard at preparing the food, and the tables were decorated in pink organza, roses in shades of pink, as well as candles and matching serviettes.
This year there was a special surprise for the ladies: Little Jessica welcomed all the ladies with a "Happy Mother's Day" wish and a gift. The gifts were sponsored by Sharon Dittmer, who made lovely rose chocolates, and Colleen de Kock, who gave Avon Glycerine Hand Creams.
Jenny's son, Steven, played some music in the background...... and with the lovely atmosphere, good food and relaxing setting, it all made for a lovely Mother's Day.
15 lucky people each won a prize. There were Avon and Tupperware products, as well as bunches of Proteas from Sharon's farm up for grabs.
After a delicious 3-course meal, lots of laughter and a general good time, everybody departed with their gifts, prizes and happy mothers...... looking forward to coming back for Father's Day on 17 June 2007.
